Dragging a garden hose around is a...well, a drag.

Okay, if the only reason you want to purchase an irrigation system is to avoid dragging around garden hoses and sprinklers - no problem! We will gladly do that for you, but there are really more important factors to consider when determining the investment in an irrigation system.

Traditional Irrigation
Traditional Sprinkler Systems

Traditional types of irrigation systems usually are comprised of use sprinklers, bubblers, spray heads, and rotary nozzles. The lawn and landscape is typically flat allowing for a fairly straightforward grid pattern.

A traditional irrigation system installed by us will involve little maintenance since we use only quality products in our design. Any irrigation system, though, should be tested occasionally for leaks and broken heads.

At Taurus Irrigation, we will design a traditional irrigation system that is tailored to your lawn and landscaping. And we are diligent when it comes to calibrating water spray and sprinkler head positions (i.e., minimize or eliminate watering un-landscaped surfaces... sidewalks, driveways, the sides of your house). It's about conserving water, not wasting it - that's why our systems are Smart Water Solutions.

Micro-Irrigation
Drip Irrigation

As a stand-alone or in tandem with traditional irrigation systems, we utilize alternative forms of irrigation for watering lawn, shrubs, trees, and gardens that do not require a broad spray pattern. In fact, a traditional sprinkler head would be counter-productive: too much water and wasteful overspray.

Micro-irrigation, or drip irrigation, applies water slowly to the roots of plants by depositing water either on the surface of the soil or directly to the root zone.  This minimizes water usage and potential loss to wind or obstructions, diTaurus Irrigationstributes water effectively, andminimizes soil erosion from runoff. We have successfully revitalized trees that are outside of a typical irrigation spray pattern by incorporating micro-irrigation systems that provided focused and much needed water directly to the root system.
