Lori Glidden wanted to get her hands dirty and revitalize Austin’s landscapes. Taurus Irrigation was born.
Lori, the local owner-operator of Taurus Irrigation, set out to create a woman-owned, get-er-done business that designs, installs, repairs, and maintains irrigation systems. Lori’s licensed and insured commercial and residential irrigation company has served the greater Austin metropolitan area since 2007.

Our engineering and general staff are committed to exceptional customer service and delivering quality products, because — really — what else is there? We are a small business with team members who truly enjoy working outdoors and revitalizing Austin’s greater landscapes.
Taurus Irrigation focuses on client satisfaction, keeping Austin green, and smart water solutions that conserve water and protect our natural resources. Those concepts are in no particular order because they are all equally important to Lori and her team.
While our hyper-focus on water conservation and the protection of natural resources may seem to be a contrary position for an irrigation company, we believe the opposite is true: a good irrigation and landscape design not only enhances aesthetic appeal, but it goes a long way to direct water flow and infiltration. It is this type of thinking that helps minimize or virtually eliminate wasted water (and, consequently, save on utility bills).
